Describe one of your favourite photographs
You should say:
- when the photograph was taken
- what it depicts
- what significant memory this photograph bears
and explain why it is one of your favourite photographs.
You will have one to two minutes to speak about the topic. You have one minute to consider what you will say. If you want, you can make some notes to help you.

"Photographs are the best way to remember things that happened in our lives. I've collected a lot of interesting photos over the course of my life. These were taken in different places with different people, and they were very important to me. The most important picture I have is one of my family.
It was taken in March 2012, when my whole family got together for a cousin's wedding. We had all gone to Delhi for a wedding, where we had a great time. We were running late for the last day's reception, and after the chaos of the morning had died down and the older family members had fought over small things, we were ready to leave. The happy person who lived next door to my grandfather jokedly asked everyone to come over for a family photo. We all did what he asked, and the picture was taken when everyone was calm.
It is very important to me because it is the last picture of my whole family. A few months after the wedding, my grandfather died, and my cousin went to study abroad. Because of this, the last time we saw the whole family happy and together was in December 2010. The picture reminds us of that wonderful time."

Some people have "photographic" faces that make everyone look at them, but I don't have one. So, it is hard for me to pick a favorite picture of me. But I'll still talk about a picture that, for some reason, I think is one of my favorites. I'll tell you why in a minute.
The picture was taken about four or five years ago at a formal dinner party after I graduated from college. On that night, all of my college friends were taking pictures and having a good time, so I decided to do the same. I started taking pictures and forgot for a while that I didn't have a "photogenic" face.
I don't know exactly how many pictures were taken of me that night, but I think it was a lot because our graduation party went on for a long time and we kept ourselves busy by singing, playing music, and eating different snacks. Anyway, when the party was over, we took our picture films to a local photo studio the next day to have them developed and get the final copies. Anyway, when I finally got to look at my own photos, all but one of them looked "less than average." The picture really showed how happy and joyful I was that night, when we were celebrating.
In that picture, a few of my friends who were splattering water were standing next to me. The picture was taken in front of a very nice background with well-kept trees and just the right amount of light.
Anyway, this is one of my favorite pictures because it reminds me of some of my most special and beautiful memories, like the last night I spent as a student with my friends and recording my first song. These are memories I will always remember and love. This is one of my favorite pictures because it shows me being my "natural" self.

"Recently, I found an old picture while going through some old papers. From that point on, it's been my favorite picture. The photo shows a couple who just got married. This was a black-and-white photo, and as time has passed, some of its parts have broken down. In the picture, there are other people standing behind the couple, and it looks like everyone is smiling. I think that was the time when black-and-white photos were the norm.
This is the first picture I have of my parents after they got married. Yes, the couple in the picture is really them. It's one of the few pictures they have of their wedding. Back then, it was hard and expensive to take a picture. The picture was taken about 30 years ago. It is made on a special kind of paper. I've never seen photos printed in black and white before. As a result, it was a unique experience for me. When I asked my mom about the pictures from their wedding, she got very emotional about that day. She can still remember every detail of that special day in great detail.
This is a special picture to me. It shows how a wedding was done back in the day. I've always been interested in my family's past, and the marriage of my parents was a big part of that. The photographer took the picture from the right angle, and all of the elements are shown in the same amount. Even though it's old, this picture has a certain charm, and every time I look at it, it makes me happy. Because of this, it's my favorite picture."

When I was only 4 or 5 years old, my parents, grandfather, and grandmother took a picture of me with them. It is one of my favorite pictures. I don't remember what happened when the picture was taken, but I've seen it a thousand times and still look at it with both happiness and sadness. The picture is in black and white, and I had it blown up and put in a frame for my living room. The picture means a lot to me because of the small child (me), the grandparents, and the young parents. I look at the picture and am amazed. Sometimes I can't believe I was so small and looked so different back then. Since my grandfather and mother are no longer here, the picture makes me feel sad. They look so nice in the picture, but I can't be with them any more.
I had on a shirt with long sleeves, full-length pants, and a pair of red shoes. I was in the middle of the picture, sitting in a chair. Others were standing around me. On the right are my parents, and on the left are my grandparents. My father was very stylish, and in the picture, he was wearing dresses that were in style at the time. My grandfather wore glasses and brushed his hair behind his ears. My mom and grandma were wearing traditional clothes, but they both looked so happy and fresh in the photo.
This is probably my favorite picture because it reminds me of my grandparents and shows a happy family. Every time I look at this picture, it makes me feel something different, a mix of happiness and sadness. I'd like to keep this with me for the rest of my life because it means a lot to me.

Before my sister showed it to me, I didn't even know the picture existed. I liked it so much that I used it as my computer's background. Now, the first thing I see when I open the lid of my laptop is that picture.
The picture shows a happy time. I think it was taken four years ago. It shows how time goes by and how the world changes. After looking at the picture, I remembered that my niece was crying a lot and that my sister was about to give her to the nanny. At that moment, I decided to take her in my arms.
